Bookmobile in Minneapolis, MN is looking for a Book Distribution Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Book Distribution Manager to facilitate the smooth operation of the distribution and book sales services by maintaining a productive and organized workflow and utilizing a proactive and innovative approach along with active communication and collaboration to maintain and expand the client base and book sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in book selling, distribution, or publishing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong and productive relationships with current authors and publishers by using active communication and resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Sign up new publishers; includes facilitating contracts and onboarding process.
• Expand book sales by providing guidance and recommendations to publishers, booksellers, wholesalers and resellers.
• Champion new ideas and opportunities to continuously expand client base and grow book sales.
• Collaborate with Director of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to facilitate cross-sales of distribution and print services.
• Provide guidance and direction as needed to the Metadata Coordinator; ensure any issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner; ensure and maintain high standard of customer service.
• Work closely with Fulfillment Manager in charge of warehouse and fulfillment operations.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in book selling, distribution, or publishing.
• Proficient computer skills and the demonstrated ability to work with various software and email applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
