The Midwest Booksellers Association Trade Show is a MEMBERS-ONLY business meeting and exhibit which is not open to the general public. MBA members, you will need to renew your membership for the 2008-2009 membership year (starting July 2008) in order to attend the 2008 show.

If you are a bookseller, publisher, vendor, or individual with a professional interest in the book business, and you would like to join MBA and attend our Trade Show, please be sure to complete both membership and Trade Show registration forms.

If you have any questions regarding the Trade Show, please contact the MBA office.

The Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront and the Saint Paul Hotel will be our MBA Trade Show hotels. MBA will have room blocks at these two hotels, with the larger block at the Crowne Plaza.

[We also recommend the Holiday Inn RiverCentre, which is very close by as well, but we will not have a room block reserved at that hotel in 2008.]

The Midwest Booksellers Association Trade Show is a MEMBERS-ONLY business meeting and exhibit which is not open to the general public. All exhibitors, booksellers, and other book industry attendees will need to be paid MBA members for the 2008-2009 membership year in order to participate.

MBA voting membership is open to retail bookstores both owned and operated in our member states, as well as to publishers, sales representatives, wholesalers and vendors who do business with our booksellers. Non-voting associate membership is open to others professionally allied to the book industry – prospective booksellers, national chain bookstores, libraries, authors, teachers, etc.

Members of the media who cover the book industry may attend, but they must contact the MBA office and provide press credentials in advance in order to receive press passes.
