The Midwest Booksellers Choice Awards process is unique because we allow publishers to nominate titles, then we poll booksellers for their nominations, and then create a ballot for them to vote on which titles they believe are most worthy of the award. This process makes our awards a celebration of indie handselling at its best. In the end, the winners will be those titles most loved and supported by Midwest independent booksellers.
